Do my pets need to be put away?
Not always. If your pets are comfortable with us and safe during the cleaning, they can usually stay out. If they are nervous, protective, or likely to slip outside, we may recommend keeping them in a secure area during the visit.
What if my dog barks?
Barking does not bother us. Many dogs bark when we arrive and settle down once they realize we’re just there to clean.
What if my cat hides?
That’s completely fine. We are used to cats who prefer to observe from under beds, behind doors, or from the most judgmental spot in the room.
Can pets stay home while you’re cleaning?
Yes, as long as it is safe for your pet and safe for our cleaner. We’ll talk through your pet’s routine during the estimate.
Will you let my dog outside?
We do not include pet care as part of the cleaning service, but we are very careful with doors and gates. If your pet is an escape artist, please let us know.
Can you work around large dogs?
Usually, yes. Large dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, safe, and comfortable with someone cleaning in the home.
Do you charge extra for homes with pets?
Not simply because you have pets. Pricing is based on the size of the home, cleaning frequency, condition, scope of work, and how long the cleaning is expected to take.
What if my pet has an accident?
Please let us know about any pet accidents before we arrive. We can clean routine messes within reason, but specialty odor treatment or biohazard cleanup is outside our normal residential cleaning scope.
