Questions People Ask Before Choosing Kristin’s Cleaning

Do you send the same cleaner every visit?

Whenever possible, yes! One of the things that makes Kristin’s different is our solo cleaner model. We do our best to assign the same company-trained, company-backed solo cleaner to your home each visit so they get to know your preferences, your routine, and the little details that matter.

If your solo cleaner is unavailable for any reason, our Operations & Client Care Manager will be on-site during your cleaning to help ensure the same professional, consistent experience you’ve come to expect.

How do arrival times work?

Because our cleaners travel from home to home throughout the day, arrival times after the first appointment of the morning cannot be guaranteed. Instead, we provide a one-hour estimated arrival window.

You’ll receive an email reminder two days before your cleaning and a text reminder the day before with our most up-to-date estimated arrival window. If the two reminders are different, the text message is the most current.

If your schedule changes or your arrival window becomes significantly delayed, we’ll do our best to let you know as soon as possible. You’re always welcome to call or text us for an updated ETA during the day.

If having a specific arrival time is especially important to you, we recommend scheduling the first appointment of the day whenever possible. Those visits have a guaranteed estimated arrival window of 8:00–8:30 AM.

While we can’t promise the exact minute we’ll arrive for every appointment, we can promise this: when you’re on our schedule, we’ll be there.

Do I need to be home during my cleaning?

Not at all. We’re happy to enter your home however you’re most comfortable. Many of our clients are away at work, while others are home during their cleaning—and both are perfectly fine. We never require you to be home during your visit.

Do you provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes! We bring everything needed to professionally clean your home.

That said, we understand some clients have favorite products for certain surfaces or materials. If you’d prefer we use a specific product in part of your home, we’re always happy to work with you whenever possible.

What about my pets?

We love your pets, and they usually seem to love us too!

As long as your pets are comfortable with us and aren’t in danger during the cleaning, we’re always happy to have a little extra furry companionship while we work. Over the years, we’ve made plenty of four-legged friends, and they’re one of the best parts of the job.
